Being left-handed, I struggle with a lot of things. Writing in a spiral notebook, opening doors, using the scissors, even getting a suitable chair to sit on in high school because the chairs were half-writing desk chairs, with most of them designed with right-handed people in mind. I have always wondered why things weren’t designed in a way that left-handed people can use them conveniently too. This was the beginning of my curiosity about design even if I was unaware of it.
...MORE THAN JUST PIXELS...
I started my creative journey registering for a design internship without any prior knowledge of product design and finished with a love for design I never thought was possible. My view of the world changed and I began to see design in everything, trying to decipher the design thinking behind them. I was able to connect my old curiosity about scissors’ and chairs to the new knowledge that I found, realizing the importance of equity in design.
Now, I’m a Product Designer with an unquenchable desire for making memorable experiences for users by building intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
With a degree in biochemistry, I channel my scientific background into my design process to get satisfactory outcomes that are human-centered, and technologically feasible while aligning business goals with users’ needs. I understand the importance of empathizing with human experiences in creating digital products, so I make it an important part of me.
Currently, I work with an amazing team at IQ Wiki designing intuitive user interfaces to help bring the blockchain knowledge to the world.
